Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning is preferred. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards. Ensure all areas are sanitized and well-maintained Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues promptly. Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring linens are clean and properly stored. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Collaborate with the housekeeping management team to uphold high cleanliness standards. Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of hotel or hospitality cleaning standards is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing attention. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
