Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your dedication to cleanliness and guest satisfaction will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our hotel facilities. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure our guests enjoy a pristine, welcoming environment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and established protocols Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and ensure all surfaces are spotless and sanitized Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies with proper manual handling techniques Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care practices including stripping, waxing, and polishing as needed Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff Experience Prior hotel housekeeping experience or janitorial experience preferred; familiarity with industrial cleaning is a plus Knowledge of floor cleaning, sanitation standards, and custodial best practices in hospitality settings Experience handling chemical agents safely and effectively in a commercial environment Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with guests and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently during daily cleaning routines Understanding of hotel housekeeping management principles is advantageous but not required Join us in creating memorable guest experiences by delivering exceptional cleanliness and hospitality!
