Responsibilities Perform floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to maintain pristine surfaces in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols for chemical handling and sanitation procedures Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, furniture, or equipment with proper technique to ensure safety Maintain cleanliness standards through vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and detailed cleaning of guest rooms and public spaces Support hotel housekeeping management by restocking supplies, assisting with janitorial tasks, and ensuring all areas meet sanitation standards Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest and staff safety at all times Use cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to safety guidelines to promote a hygienic environment Requirements Previous janitorial or custodial experience within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and floor care best practices Ability to handle chemical agents safely in accordance with SDS guidelines Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude toward guests and staff Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management procedures and sanitation standards Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or polishers is advantageous Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating memorable guest experiences by ensuring our spaces are spotless, safe, and welcoming!
