Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Guest Room Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Your dedication to excellence will ensure that every guest experiences comfort, safety, and satisfaction during their stay. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and using appropriate cleaning equipment. Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain spotless surfaces throughout the hotel. Assist with public area cleaning, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns. Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of linens, supplies, or equipment to prevent injury and maintain safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Qualifications Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred; familiarity with hotel housekeeping management is a plus. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and sanitation standards within hospitality settings. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely while adhering to health and safety regulations. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Physical stamina to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools. Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is advantageous.
