Overview Holiday Inn Conference Center Valdosta is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and guest-focused Overnight Hotel Houseman to join our housekeeping team. The Overnight Houseman plays an important role in keeping the hotel clean, organized, safe, and guest-ready throughout the overnight hours. This position is ideal for someone who takes initiative, works well independently, and takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. Responsibilities Clean and maintain hotel hallways, elevators, stairwells, lobby, public areas, restrooms, and other assigned areas. Remove trash and soiled linens from guest floors and housekeeping areas. Deliver clean linens, towels, and supplies to housekeeping staff. Keep housekeeping closets, storage areas, and service areas clean and organized. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests for towels, pillows, amenities, and other items. Assist the Front Desk and other departments with overnight operational needs when necessary. Monitor public areas and exterior areas for cleanliness, safety, and unusual activity. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, damages, or other concerns to management. Assist with moving furniture, rollaway beds, cribs, and other items as needed. Complete assigned cleaning projects and other duties as directed by management. Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude with guests and fellow team members. Requirements MUST have a valid driver's license. Must be dependable and punctual. Must be available to work overnight/3rd shift , including weekends and holidays. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. Ability to communicate professionally with guests and team members. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift as required. Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required .
