Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Guest Room Attendant Housekeeper to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will ensure that guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and sanitation. Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including beds, bathrooms, floors, and furniture, ensuring all areas meet hotel standards. Handle cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment such as vacuums, mops, and cleaning cloths to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Properly handle chemical agents and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols. Perform floor care activities including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to keep all surfaces spotless. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen replacement, furniture movement, or supply restocking while adhering to manual handling safety procedures. Follow hotel emergency procedures and sanitation guidelines to ensure guest safety at all times. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Qualifications Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling is highly desirable. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS). A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.
