Community Housekeeper

The Center for Benedictine Life at the Monastery of St. Gertrude has an opportunity for a hard-working, detail-oriented individual to join our Housekeeping Team. We are looking for an individual with professional cleaning experience to join our housekeeping team. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position: Monday through Friday from 8:00 - 4:30. Housekeepers care for the Monastery's chapel and common areas, for our 22-room retreat center, and for our other guest accommodations. Tasks are directed by the Head of Housekeeping and include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors; washing linens, dishes, and windows; dusting tables, lamps, and bookcases; making beds and cleaning bathrooms.
