As the Public Area Attendant, you are responsible for cleaning the common areas and exterior of the hotel and to have them ready to welcome guests. You must perform all Public Area Attendant duties in accordance with the Company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

1. Obtains daily cleaning schedule and tasks from immediate supervisor 2. Cleans and maintains all lobbies, public areas and public restrooms. 3. Cleans walls and vacuums stairwells and hallways 4. Sweeps and mops floors of all entrances. 5. Empties and cleans outdoor trash and ashtrays 6. Polishes furniture and fixtures 7. Vacuums/mops and polishes elevators 8. Cleans the lobby floor 9. Keeps the back areas and closets of the hotel neat and clean 10. Ensures mirrors and doors are clean and mark-free 11. Removes all trash from common areas, parking lot and exterior areas of the hotel 12. Regularly checks all lobby restrooms/wash rooms to ensure cleanliness. 13. Restocks all supplies including toilet paper, soap and hand towels in the lobby restrooms/wash rooms 14. Ensures all surfaces are clean and tidy 15. Cleans the exercise room including equipment, floors, mirrors, and walls. 16. Cleans the pool area including furniture, floor, glass and doors 17. Takes all lost and found items to the front desk, tagged with location, articles, and date. 18. Advises immediate supervisor of any necessary repair or maintenance for all guest areas. 19. Restocks attendant's cart at the end of the shift. 20. Empties vacuum cleaners daily and takes trash to outside trash dumpster. 21. Cleans and maintains outdoor spaces including, but not limited to, patios, sitting areas and furniture. 22. Assists Room Attendants and Laundry Attendant as necessary.
