Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation in residential settings. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to uphold health and safety standards. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Use cleaning equipment and detergents effectively to clean floors, carpets, surfaces, and appliances. Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper technique. Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of cleaning tools. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service. Conduct outdoor work when required, such as sweeping patios or cleaning exterior entryways. Follow time management practices to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled periods. Requirements Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services. Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces including floors, carpets, and countertops. Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and floor care products. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Experience with floor cleaning methods such as polishing or scrubbing is preferred. Basic knowledge of laundry procedures and equipment operation is desirable. Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required.
