Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities. Your efforts will directly contribute to providing guests with a comfortable and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and experience in cleaning and custodial services within the hospitality or related industries. Part time hours. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces. Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests and staff. Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe working environment. Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or cleanliness deficiencies. Use industrial cleaning equipment for floor care and deep cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards. Collaborate with housekeeping management to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of duties. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or housekeeping within the hospitality industry or similar settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and use of industrial cleaning equipment. Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable. Strong custodial skills with an emphasis on sanitation standards and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with housekeeping management systems or software is a plus.
