Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely to maintain sanitation in all areas. Follow safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel emergency procedures when handling cleaning chemicals or responding to incidents. Maintain the cleanliness of public spaces including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas through janitorial practices. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to laundry loads or cleaning supplies while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Ensure all cleaning equipment is operated correctly and maintained regularly for optimal performance. Support hotel housekeeping management by completing daily task checklists and reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly. Uphold sanitation standards through routine disinfecting practices aligned with hospitality industry regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests courteously and efficiently. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or industrial setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers is beneficial. Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) ensures safe work practices. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is a plus but not mandatory; we value motivated individuals eager to learn. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
