Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and polishing floors to ensure a spotless environment Safely handle chemical agents and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols Maintain sanitation standards by properly disposing of waste and ensuring all areas meet health regulations Operate janitorial equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers efficiently and safely Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety procedures Follow Medical Center emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times Requirements Proven custodial or janitorial experience, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and floor care maintenance Ability to handle chemical agents safely and understand safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and industrial cleaning tools Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently when needed Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards is a plus Knowledge of Medical Center emergency procedures and safety protocols is advantageous Join us in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort!
