Job Description
Published July 16, 2026 Location 911 Stacy Burk Dr., Flora, Illinois Category Housekeeping Job Type Full-time Works within the Clay County Hospital operating room to clean and sanitize those two facilities to provide a safe/clean environment for our patients, staff and visitors. Duties include but are not limited to: complete a daily checklist, dispose of all waste in an appropriate manner and follow accepted cleaning procedures in preparing chemicals and using proper PPE. High school education preferred but not required. Basic reading and computer skills are needed. Physical requirements include bending, walking, vacuuming, mopping, going up and down stairs, lifting 25 lbs or less. Role is full time, 5 days a week with some holidays and weekends. Hours are 9am to 5:30pm. Starting pay is $16.73 per hour.
