Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Kids Room staff member. This position involves providing care and creating a safe, engaging environment for children. The "Cove" (Kids Room) is open during dinner service from 5pm to 8:30 or 9pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. The kids room attendant is responsible for keeping the kids safe and playing games with them to keep them engaged while they wait for their parents to finish eating. Responsibilities Create a fun and safe environment by organizing activities, such as: starting a movie, playing foosball, ping pong, or air hockey. Help setup and operation of other Recreation events such as Movie Nights, weekly Kid's Night Out, and Pool Parties. Convey any problems or potential issues encountered to the Recreations Manager. Clean up the room and bring lost and found items to Member Services. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the Kids Room Requirements Experience in babysitting or childcare is preferred Must pass background check and drug screening in compliance with employee manual Ability to engage and interact with children of varying ages Strong communication skills and patience in dealing with young children
