As a vital part of our housekeeping operations, you will assist with floor care, cleaning, and custodial duties to ensure our property remains pristine and welcoming. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience, fostering a safe and hygienic environment for all visitors and staff. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and service spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Handle chemical agents safely by understanding and following safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols for chemical handling Conduct floor cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, and floor care maintenance to uphold cleanliness standards Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks such as moving furniture or supplies in accordance with safety procedures Maintain sanitation standards by properly disposing of waste and ensuring all areas meet health regulations Support hotel housekeeping management by replenishing supplies, restocking linen carts, and reporting maintenance issues promptly Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety during unforeseen incidents or safety hazards Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience within a hospitality or hotel environment is highly preferred Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous Experience in hotel housekeeping management or hospitality roles demonstrates strong customer service skills Knowledge of safety protocols including proper use of cleaning equipment, chemical handling, and safety data sheets (SDS) compliance Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely in a fast-paced setting Proven track record of maintaining high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and customer service in a hotel or similar environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating exceptional guest experiences through meticulous cleanliness, safety awareness, and outstanding service!
