We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Vandalia Healthcare & Senior Living. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential and commercial spaces while providing excellent customer service. The Housekeeper helps create a welcoming environment for clients and guests. Duties Perform thorough cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces with attention to detail and a focus on quality. Manage housekeeping responsibilities to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency. Launder linens, towels, and other items as needed, adhering to proper laundry procedures and protocols. Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning, ensuring a safe and clean environment for clients and guests. Provide responsive and friendly customer service, addressing client needs and concerns with a positive and professional demeanor. Follow safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and equipment, prioritizing safety and well-being. Skills Experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred, with a strong understanding of housekeeping management practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team, with excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods, with knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation practices. Experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is helpful but not required, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
