The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for cleaning assigned areas as requested and assigned.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Supports the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision. Cleans and maintains assigned areas including public areas and resident rooms. Cleans restrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures in apartments and common areas. Vacuums carpeted areas and mops tile floors. Spot cleans walls and windows. Dust's furniture and empties trashcans. Cleans baseboards, pictures, lights, and HVAC vents. Assists with activity room set-ups, which could require movement of furniture. Attends training courses at community and maintains up to date monthly, quarterly, annual training through designated Learning Management System (LMS). Attend all required all staff meetings. Other duties as assigned, and which relate to the success of the community and the care, comfort, and happiness of our residents.Requirements:
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required. General knowledge of housekeeping. Ability to use all required equipment. Must have excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and time management. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and vendors. Must work well within a team as well as independently. Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions. Must have strong understanding of the English language sufficient to read and write.PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS
