Job Summary Join our environmental services team as a Full Time Housekeeper, where your dedication to cleanliness and resident satisfaction will shine! In this vital role, you will ensure resident rooms and common areas are spotless, sanitized, and inviting. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment for residents. Duties Clean all bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures in residents rooms/apartment and common areas Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors Spot clean walls and windows Dust furniture and empty trash cans Clean baseboards, pictures, lights and HVAC Vents Honor any additional housekeeping request made by the residents during the allotted time Assist with picking up trash Assist with activity room set-ups, will require movement of furniture Report any pertinent information to management directly related to the well-being of the resident Perform any additional housekeeping tasks as necessary Requirements Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a long term care environment is preferred Knowledge of floor cleaning and floor care techniques necessary for maintaining various surfaces Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while following safety protocols and SDS instructions Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to lift heavy items safely Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards residents and team members Understanding of long term care emergency procedures and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety and comfort At Hubbard Hill, individual attention and hospitality are priorities.
