Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by executing regular cleaning routines Handle cleaning supplies and chemical agents safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety protocols Conduct heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or supplies, ensuring manual handling procedures are followed to prevent injury Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain sanitation standards throughout the property in compliance with hotel emergency procedures Use janitorial equipment effectively to deliver high-quality floor care, including mopping, polishing, and vacuuming floors Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or cleaning needs Requirements Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality environments Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques and sanitation practices Ability to handle chemical agents safely and understand safety data sheets (SDS) for all cleaning products used Manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards guests and team members Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and other janitorial tools Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management procedures and hotel emergency protocols is preferred Previous experience in hotel experience or janitorial experience is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating memorable stays for our guests by ensuring every corner of our hotel shines with cleanliness!
