In this vital role, you will support the housekeeping department by ensuring all public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of sanitation and presentation. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners to maintain pristine floor care standards Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient workflow Support the hotel housekeeping management team by restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns Maintain sanitation standards through regular cleaning routines, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience within a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and sanitation practices Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines Strong manual handling skills for heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management procedures and hospitality standards Ability to follow detailed instructions for cleaning procedures and safety protocols Prior experience with hotel emergency procedures is advantageous Join us in creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional cleanliness and service!
