Tailored Cleaning Services is growing, and we're looking for dependable, detail-oriented people who would enjoy cleaning approximately one home per workday on a flexible weekday schedule. At TCS, we believe cleaning is not one-size-fits-all. Every home is different and deserves individual care. Our goal is to give clients back time to enjoy their families and their homes while delivering consistent, thoughtful service.

THE POSITION

This is a part-time W-2 employee position designed for someone who wants dependable daytime work without needing a full-time schedule. Most team members will clean approximately one home per scheduled workday, depending on availability and client needs.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas
• Dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping
• Following TCS cleaning standards and client notes
• Caring for clients' homes and belongings with respect
• Communicating questions or concerns to your Team Lead
• Completing a final quality check before leaving each home PAY This position is paid primarily on a job-rate basis.

Current standard recurring-clean rates are:

• $60 for a standard biweekly clean
• $80 for a standard monthly clean Jobs are structured so that normal cleaning production is expected to work out to approximately $20 per hour based on expected cleaning time.

Employees must accurately record all compensable time worked. TCS will ensure total compensation complies with applicable minimum-wage and overtime laws.

PAID TRAVEL BETWEEN JOBS

Employees are generally responsible for their normal commute:

• Home to the first scheduled client
• Final scheduled client to home Travel between client locations during the workday is compensable work time and must be recorded.

TCS pays compensable between-job travel time at a separate established travel rate. Ordinary home-to-work commuting is generally not compensable under federal law. Federal Trade Commission

SUPPLIES PROVIDED

You do not need to purchase your own cleaning supplies.

TCS provides:

• Cleaning products
• Standard cleaning caddy
• Cleaning tools and materials
• Supply refills
• Laundering/management of company cleaning materials as applicable
• Training on our products, systems, and cleaning standards

SCHEDULE

Part-time | Weekdays | Daytime We are specifically looking for people with availability Monday through Friday during daytime hours. This position is intended to be flexible. A cleaner may work only a few days per week and may complete approximately one home on each scheduled workday. Workload and available assignments may increase as TCS continues to grow.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must:

• Have reliable transportation
• Hold a valid driver's license where driving is required for the position
• Maintain legally required automobile insurance
• Be able to reliably travel to assigned client homes
• Have dependable daytime availability on agreed working days
• Be able to perform the essential physical duties of residential cleaning, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Be able to successfully complete a background check consistent with applicable law

successful TCS cleaner:

• Arrives reliably for assigned work
• Communicates promptly when a problem arises
• Completes homes to TCS quality standards
• Follows client notes and cleaning procedures
• Treats clients, teammates, and property professionally
• Manages company supplies responsibly
• Accepts coaching and improves through feedback
• Becomes capable of independently completing assigned homes after training

TRAINING

New cleaners receive structured paid onboarding. During the first several days, you'll work alongside an experienced trainer while learning the TCS cleaning process, product use, quality standards, efficiency expectations, client interaction, and company culture. As training progresses, you and the trainer will begin cleaning separate areas of the home. Your trainer will review completed work and provide coaching. During the second week, cleaners typically begin completing jobs more independently, with Team Lead quality checks and continued feedback. Training length may vary based on individual progress and operational needs.
