Job Description

Job Overview A Boys & Girls Club Youth Development Professional (YDP) plans, implements, and supervises engaging programs for youth, focusing on health & well-being, character & leadership, academic success, and life & workforce readiness. They maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment, fostering mentorship and behavior management for school-aged members while ensuring high-quality program outcomes. Essential Job Functions Supervise, manage, and maintain various programs and program areas. Supervise Club activities and spaces including, but not limited to snack area, games room, and gym. Encourage a positive environment for all individuals to learn, interact, and grow. Create, plan, and conduct activities for youth utilizing a monthly schedule. Collaborate with other staff to schedule academic enrichment activities and programs. Implement fun, quality programs for youth. Teach the rules of playing common games and activities such as pool, card games, board games, basketball, soccer, etc. Assist with guidance and discipline with Club members. Submit all required reports on time and in good order. Assist with organization and maintaining all program areas. Build positive relationships with youth, volunteers, and parents. Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions. Assist with Club and community special events as needed. Assume other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a valid driver license with clean abstract. Must be willing/able to become van driver certified.
Pay:
$12.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 24.5 per week
