Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests and staff. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for all. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution. Adhere to all health regulations and company policies related to sanitation and cleanliness. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care (mopping, polishing), carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or custodial practices is highly desirable. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for collaborating with colleagues and supporting guest satisfaction.
