Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Handle various cleaning tasks such as floor care, chemical agent handling, and janitorial duties using appropriate cleaning equipment. Perform heavy lifting when moving furniture or supplies safely in accordance with hotel safety procedures. Follow sanitation protocols and safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals and maintain a safe environment for yourself and colleagues. Assist with public area cleaning, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other hotel spaces to ensure a spotless appearance. Respond promptly to guest requests or inquiries with a friendly attitude, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Adhere to hotel emergency procedures and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff. Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial/janitorial experience within hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, floor care, sanitation practices, and cleaning equipment operation. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining compliance with SDS guidelines. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, vacuuming, and prolonged standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest satisfaction. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
