JOB SUMMARY

Keeps the facility in a clean, safe, and orderly manner using accepted facility housekeeping practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

? Responsible for working hours as scheduled.? Following cleaning schedule as posted by the Housekeeping Supervisor.? Cleaning resident rooms; change linens, dust, sweep, mop, empty trash and pick up items.? Thoroughly cleaning tub rooms and public restrooms; replacing soap, tissue, and towels asneeded.? Cleaning windows, dusting all surfaces, and emptying trash containesr in all areas.? Cleaning and disinfecting all vacated rooms.? Cleaning and disinfecting floors in all areas.? Keeps facility free from odors, pests, and rubbish.? Perform basic inspection to identify minor or major maintenance requirements and takeappropriate action.? Using and maintaining equipment, cart, and supplies in a proper manner.? Performs emergency housekeeping where accidents occur.? Follow policies and procedures for infection control practices and operate equipment correctlyto prevent accidents.? Complete Medicalodges, Inc, state and federal required training.? Participate and follow safety instructions for disaster and emergency preparedness, including butnot limited to fire drills.? Follow Medicalodges policies and procedures, including compliance & code of ethics & conduct.? Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

:? High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate? Ability to follow procedures? Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products? Self motivated
