Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hotel team and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. This role involves cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and assigned areas according to hotel standards, while ensuring that every guest enjoys a pleasant and comfortable stay. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, have strong attention to detail, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established hotel standards. Make beds and change bed linens, towels, and other room supplies. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including showers, tubs, sinks, toilets, and floors. Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and clean guest rooms and assigned areas. Restock towels, toiletries, and other guest room amenities as needed. Empty trash and ensure proper disposal of waste. Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, damage, or missing items and report concerns to management. Report maintenance issues or repairs needed in guest rooms promptly. Maintain cleanliness of hallways, public areas, and other assigned areas as needed. Follow proper procedures when using cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment. Respect guest privacy and handle guest belongings with care. Coordinate with the Front Desk and other hotel departments regarding room status and guest needs. Complete assigned rooms efficiently while maintaining quality and cleanliness standards. Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines. Provide friendly and professional service to guests when interacting with them. Requirements Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. Reliable, punctual, and responsible with a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and other items as required. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. A professional attitude and commitment to providing a clean and comfortable guest experience.
