Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met. Execute floor cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment and techniques for various surfaces, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing. Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using suitable detergents and disinfectants to maintain a healthy environment. Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and effectively. Communicate professionally with residents or clients regarding their cleaning preferences or special requests. Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment while adhering to safety protocols for outdoor work when required. Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred; familiarity with cleaning detergents and equipment is essential. Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, floor care techniques, and surface cleaning methods. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents. Experience in laundry operations and outdoor work environments is advantageous. Basic understanding of housekeeper management practices is a plus; however, a proactive attitude towards learning is valued.
