Position Summary The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas. This role ensures that all guestrooms meet brand and hotel cleanliness standards while providing a positive experience for guests through attention to detail and exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards. Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities. Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and hallways. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces. Remove trash and dispose of waste properly. Replenish room supplies, including toiletries, coffee, and linens. Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and safety hazards. Report maintenance concerns and lost-and-found items to management. Maintain cleanliness of public areas as assigned. Follow hotel safety, security, and sanitation procedures. Ensure guest requests are handled promptly and professionally. Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment. Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and communicate replenishment needs. Qualifications Required Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate professionally with guests and coworkers. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to push housekeeping carts and lift up to 25 pounds regularly. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
