Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the "Property") is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.

JOB SUMMARY

The Heavy-Duty Housekeeper position is responsible for performing detailed cleaning and restorative cleaning throughout guest rooms to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and appearance prepared for our guests' experience at the property. Rooms are assigned and it is the responsibility of the team member to ensure that all cleaning and organizing of the rooms are completed as assigned, prior to guests entering the hotel rooms. #oakgrove

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform scheduled deep cleaning of guest rooms, suites, hallways, and public areas Shampoo carpets and spot clean stains as needed Clean walls, ceilings, baseboards, vents, and light fixtures Clean windows, mirrors and glass surfaces Clean behind, under, and around furniture and appliances Dust high and low surfaces including vents, artwork and ledges Deep clean bathrooms, including grout, tile, shower doors and fixtures Rotate and flip mattress as directed Inspect and report maintenance issues, damaged furniture, or safety hazards to Hotel & Housekeeping Supervisor Remove stains from furniture, upholstery, and carpets using approved cleaning method's Follow all hotel safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines Maintain equipment and notify management when repairs or replacements are needed Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with internal departments. Understand and represent Oak Grove's image and reputation both at work and at external functions. Maintaining a professional working relationship among other team members. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and integrity. Must be detail oriented, have a professional attitude, strong organizational and time management skills, and be customer-focused

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task and take direction. Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
