Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently. Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality. Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and effectively. Use cleaning equipment responsibly for tasks like floor cleaning machines, vacuum cleaners, and janitorial tools. Requirements Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation practices. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday. Physical stamina for outdoor work experiences such as yard or patio cleaning when required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
