Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced Hotel Housekeeper with prior hotel experience to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hospitality that exceeds guest expectations. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the overall guest experience and the smooth operation of our hotel. Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures. Perform janitorial tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting bathrooms to uphold sanitation standards. Manage heavy lifting tasks involved in moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness in public areas like lobbies, hallways, and restrooms to ensure a welcoming environment for guests. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns. Use industrial cleaning tools efficiently while ensuring compliance with hotel housekeeping management standards. Other Duties as assigned Skills Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, including carpet vacuuming and floor care maintenance. Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Familiarity with sanitation practices and the use of chemical agents in cleaning processes. Excellent customer service skills to address guest needs courteously and professionally. Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
