Duties Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Handle various cleaning tasks using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain spotless surfaces throughout the property. Manage heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture, linens, or supplies safely and efficiently. Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to ensure consistency and quality standards are met consistently. Maintain sanitation standards by properly handling chemical agents and ensuring all cleaning practices comply with health regulations and hotel policies. Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns with excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning environments. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and chemical handling procedures. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners effectively. Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to perform heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude toward guests and team members. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment. Previous hospitality or hotel experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
