Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in residential or commercial settings. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine environment by performing cleaning, laundry, and surface sanitation tasks with precision and care. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all surfaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and floor care techniques. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment in accordance with health standards. Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens and living areas as required, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards. Use cleaning detergents safely and effectively while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and heavy lifting. Communicate professionally with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Manage time effectively to complete daily tasks within scheduled hours while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced settings. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
