Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors using appropriate cleaning equipment. Safely handle chemical agents and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment. Conduct heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or large laundry loads while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns to protect guests and staff. Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition and used properly for optimal results. Skills Ability to handle chemical agents safely while understanding the importance of safety data sheets (SDS) for all cleaning products used. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members alike. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking during shifts. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools. Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices including sanitation protocols and hospitality standards.
