Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently. Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and storage after use. Clean floors using appropriate methods such as sweeping, mopping, or carpet cleaning to keep surfaces safe and attractive. Manage outdoor work responsibilities including outdoor surface cleaning and light landscaping tasks when required. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service while maintaining discretion and respect for privacy. Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control of cleaning supplies and scheduling routine cleaning activities. Practice manual handling techniques to lift heavy objects safely during cleaning tasks while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, paying attention to detail in high-touch areas for optimal sanitation. Requirements Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning procedures including the use of various cleaning detergents and equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with efficiency. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled timeframes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members. Outdoor work experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in different environments. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing is desirable. Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is advantageous but not required. A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring client satisfaction is essential.
