Responsibilities Operate laundry machines including industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to ensure efficient laundry processing. Handle textiles with care, performing washing, drying, pressing, folding, and packaging of linens, uniforms, and guest clothing. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all laundry areas by following safety protocols and using appropriate laundry detergents. Manage materials handling tasks such as loading push carts, transporting linens between departments, and organizing supplies for optimal workflow. Adhere strictly to safety standards in production environments by following safety protocol guidelines and properly using personal protective equipment. Assist with basic maintenance of laundry equipment to ensure optimal operation and report any malfunctions promptly. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests for laundry services while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Requirements Prior experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of daily tasks involving linens or supplies. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating loads accurately. Knowledge of sanitation practices, textile cleaning methods including dry cleaning processes, and safety standards in production environments. Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on materials handling and safe operation of laundry machinery. Excellent attention to detail to ensure garments are cared for properly and laundry is processed efficiently.
