Job Summary Summary Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout a hospital or healthcare facility by performing routine cleaning, floor care, waste removal, and facility support services. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions Sweeps, mops, waxes, strips, and polishes floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets. Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment. Cleans walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and glass surfaces. Empties, cleans, and sanitizes waste receptacles in assigned areas. Cleans and sanitizes restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenishes restroom supplies as needed. Collects and removes debris from buildings and surrounding areas. Operates high- and low-speed floor stripping and buffing machines.
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently but also be a team player.
- Good communication and comprehension skills.
