The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role is essential in upholding our standards of hospitality and cleanliness, contributing to an exceptional experience for all visitors. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, adhering to established cleanliness standards. Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces. Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as required. Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is beneficial. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A commitment to upholding safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
