Overview Need housecleaner for every Saturday and some Sundays in August to join our team. Most homes are in Provincetown however I compensate for travel as well! Must have own transportation. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to meet high standards of cleanliness. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene and safety. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently. Care for floors through specialized cleaning techniques like carpet cleaning and floor care to maintain their appearance and longevity. Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and effectively. Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and operate janitorial equipment responsibly. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with the service provided. Follow time management practices to complete assigned tasks promptly while maintaining quality standards. Perform outdoor work when necessary, such as cleaning patios or outdoor furniture, contributing to overall property upkeep. Qualifications Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping is highly desirable; janitorial or outdoor work experience is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with various cleaning detergents and equipment operation. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when required. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple homes. Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and outdoor work as needed.
