Ferncroft Country Club is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Houseman to support our facilities and events team. This role plays a key part in delivering an exceptional experience for our members and guests by ensuring all club spaces are clean, organized, and event-ready at all times. The ideal candidate is proactive, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and break down banquet rooms, meeting spaces, and outdoor areas according to event specifications Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public spaces, including the clubhouse, restrooms, locker rooms, and event areas Assist with arranging tables, chairs, linens, and equipment for weddings, golf outings, and member events Support the banquet and clubhouse teams during events to ensure seamless service Replenish supplies such as linens, paper goods, and restroom amenities throughout the day Transport furniture, equipment, and deliveries across the property as needed Monitor the condition of the clubhouse and grounds, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly Keep storage and service areas clean, organized, and fully stocked Follow all club standards for safety, cleanliness, and member service

Qualifications:

Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or facilities is preferred but not required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency Positive attitude and team-first mindset Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on club events
