A Maid or Housekeeping Staff provides cleaning and housekeeping services, primarily for rooms and bathrooms in hotels and hospitals. May also work in private residences, office buildings, colleges, other institutions.
At this time, we are only hiring cleaners who live in Massachusetts. We are not hiring from CT, RI, or NH. Most cleanings are located around the Upton area, approximately a 30-minute radius. Green Mop Cleaning Services is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time House Cleaner to join our growing team. Must-Have Requirements You must:
Have morning availability. Have a valid driver's license. Have a reliable personal vehicle. Be comfortable driving between job locations during the workday. Be able to pass a background check. Be able to speak and understand enough English to communicate with clients and coworkers, read job notes, and follow cleaning instructions. Be dependable and punctual. Be comfortable following checklists, systems, and company cleaning standards. Be physically able to perform residential cleaning throughout the workday. Professional cleaning experience is strongly preferred. What You'll Do Clean residential homes throughout our service area. Dust, vacuum, mop, and clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas. Work independently or alongside another cleaner. Follow client notes, cleaning checklists, and job instructions. Perform quality checks before leaving each home. Communicate with the office when there are questions, problems, damages, or client requests. Use Green Mop's eco-friendly cleaning products and professional cleaning systems. Properly care for company cleaning tools and equipment. Drive between client homes during the workday. Experience Professional residential cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred. We provide training on Green Mop's products, systems, checklists, and quality standards. Candidates with professional cleaning experience may qualify for higher starting pay based on skill and experience. Schedule Part-time position with the possibility of additional hours as the company grows. Morning availability is required. Work is primarily Monday through Friday. But even if you are only available 1 or 2 days per week , we may be able to accommodate your schedule. Specific days and hours depend on your availability and our client schedule.
