Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to join our team on weekends. This vital role ensures that our facility maintains a pristine, sanitary, and comfortable environment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and bathrooms using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Handle laundry services including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and residents' clothing Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and adhering to infection control protocols Requirements Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in healthcare or commercial environments Knowledge of cleaning techniques including chemical handling, sanitation procedures, and infection control practices Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards residents and staff Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols involving chemical use and PPE Reliable availability on weekends with the motivation to contribute positively to the team's success Must be at least 18 years old and have high school diploma or GED Strong communication skills also required Join us in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where residents feel cared for every day!
