All Bright Janitorial Services is seeking dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Environmental Services (EVS) Technicians to join our team at a behavioral health hospital. Our EVS staff play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and healing environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, nursing stations, offices, and common areas. Follow hospital cleaning procedures and infection prevention protocols. Maintain compliance with all infection control, patient safety, and environmental services standards. Safely handle and dispose of medical and non-medical waste according to facility guidelines. Restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance or safety concerns. Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning tools safely and efficiently. Ensure patient units remain clean, sanitary, and ready for occupancy. Work collaboratively with hospital staff while maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism. Follow all OSHA, CDC, and facility safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous housekeeping, EVS, healthcare, or janitorial experience is preferred but not required. We provide training. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift. Must successfully pass any required background checks and onboarding requirements.
