Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, conference spaces, and event areas as needed Support housekeeping staff by delivering linens, supplies, and amenities to guest rooms efficiently and courteously Conduct routine floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, and vacuuming to maintain spotless surfaces Ensure all janitorial equipment is well-maintained, stocked with supplies, and used safely according to established procedures Assist in the removal of trash and recyclables from public areas and back-of-house spaces in accordance with hotel policies Support general maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting issues promptly to maintenance teams for resolution Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within hospitality or industrial settings Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning Familiarity with hotel operations and standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced environment Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy hotel setting Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting supplies, and performing manual cleaning tasks for extended periods Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and support staff This role is an excellent fit for motivated individuals eager to develop their hospitality expertise while making a tangible difference in guest satisfaction.
