Full Job Description Base Salary:

$15.00-17.00/hr (based on experience) Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Banquet Houseman/Server, where your energy and attention to detail will elevate our guests' experience during special events and functions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of banquet spaces while providing exceptional service to our guests. Responsibilities Prepare banquet rooms by cleaning, setting up tables, arranging chairs, and ensuring all equipment is in optimal condition for events Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Handle cleaning supplies and chemical agents safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel safety procedures Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture, tables, and equipment to ensure smooth event setup and breakdown Support hotel housekeeping management by maintaining sanitation standards in banquet areas before, during, and after events Respond promptly to guest requests with excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and courteously Follow hotel emergency procedures when necessary to ensure guest safety and uphold sanitation standards during all operations Skills Proven experience in floor cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or hotel environment Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor care tools Ability to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and hotel safety protocols Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management procedures and hotel emergency protocols Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring a safe environment for all guests and staff This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
