Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks in residential homes and commercial properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently. Clean floors using appropriate methods such as sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to maintain a spotless appearance. Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items as needed. Use specialized cleaning equipment and detergents effectively while adhering to safety guidelines. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, appliances, or cleaning supplies safely and efficiently. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and ensure their satisfaction with the service provided. Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is functioning properly for optimal performance. Follow established housekeeping management protocols for residential spaces and maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times. Outdoor work experience may be required for certain properties involving exterior cleaning or yard maintenance tasks. Skills Proven experience in residential housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong focus on detailed cleaning routines. Excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, sanitation procedures, and the proper use of cleaning detergents and equipment. Skilled in floor cleaning techniques. Ability to manage time efficiently to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes without compromising quality. Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and prolonged periods of standing or walking. Familiarity with dusting techniques, surface sanitation, and general housekeeping best practices. Strong organizational skills for managing supplies, equipment maintenance, and client requests effectively.
