Housekeeping (1099)

JOB SUMMARY

Kinetic Potential (KP) is currently recruiting a conscientious and dedicated Housekeeper to support the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of assigned facilities. This position is responsible for performing cleaning and maintenance tasks that may require training, attention to detail, and adherence to established safety standards. The Housekeeper will inspect assigned areas and report maintenance or cleanliness concerns to the Supervisor. Work may take place indoors, outdoors, or in a combination of both environments depending on assignment needs.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, shampooing carpets, and window cleaning. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, and counters; refill dispensers as needed (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.). Remove trash and waste materials from assigned areas and assist with emergency cleaning tasks as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned spaces to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of cleaning and sanitary supplies; inform Supervisor when replenishment is needed. Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA safety standards and hazardous material guidelines. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively, following all required training and procedures. Inspect assigned areas daily and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or cleaning discrepancies to the Supervisor. Ensure adherence to security procedures and workplace safety protocols at all times. Maintain positive and professional working relationships with building staff and team members. Complete assigned work orders in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions. Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of ladders and equipment. Perform floor care duties such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing as required.

OPERATING SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

Education/Training:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year of custodial or housekeeping experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures consistently. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform job duties, including: Lifting up to 50 lbs using proper safety techniques Standing and walking for extended periods Climbing stairs and ladders (up to 3 feet) Bending, kneeling, crawling, and working in tight spaces Working in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind) Handling, gripping, and operating cleaning tools and equipment Ability to complete required documentation and reports accurately. Pay:
