Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of hotel floors using various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and mops to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures outlined in Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ensuring effective sanitation without compromising safety. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment to support housekeeping operations efficiently. Maintain cleanliness in public areas including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms through routine sanitation and detailed floor care. Support hotel housekeeping staff by replenishing supplies, removing trash, and ensuring all areas meet sanitation standards. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times. Operate cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols for chemical handling and manual handling procedures. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience within a hotel or industrial cleaning environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices and sanitation standards enhances your ability to excel in this role. Experience with floor cleaning techniques including vacuuming, polishing, and floor care treatments is essential. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) ensures safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
