Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Use proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of furniture or equipment to maintain safety standards. Maintain floor care routines such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing to preserve the appearance and longevity of surfaces. Manage cleaning supplies inventory, ensuring all cleaning detergents and equipment are well-stocked and properly maintained. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs and preferences to deliver personalized service. Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to janitorial work, including proper use of cleaning equipment and handling of sanitation chemicals. Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as patio or porch cleaning, contributing to overall property upkeep. Experience Proven experience in residential housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and janitorial tools. Experience in implementing cleaning routines for various surfaces including hardwood floors, tiles, carpets, and countertops. Knowledge of cleaning detergents and chemicals with the ability to handle them safely and effectively. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple properties or client requests. Previous customer service experience is preferred to ensure positive interactions with residents or clients. Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas or outdoor furniture as part of comprehensive property care.
