Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests and residents alike. - Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, adhering to established standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Ensure all bathrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or hospitality roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
